Erling Haaland is celebrating a third Premier League Golden Boot accolade after ending the 2025/26 campaign as the league’s leading scorer.
The Manchester City striker scored 27 goals to finish comfortably clear of the competition, five goals ahead of Brentford’s Igor Thiago.
For Haaland, it’s a third Golden Boot in just four seasons at the Etihad. The Norwegian has shattered goalscoring records with the Cityzens and has become only the fifth player to win three or more Golden Boots.

Just nine players have ended multiple Premier League campaigns as top scorer, while only three have done so with different clubs. Alan Shearer was the first to achieve that feat after winning Golden Boots with Blackburn Rovers (1994/95 and 1995/96) and Newcastle United (1996/97).
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Leeds – 1998/99 and Chelsea 2000/01) and Robin van Persie (Arsenal – 2011/12 and Manchester United – 2012/13) have also won the Golden Boot with different clubs.
Shearer was also the first player to win three consecutive Golden Boots, a feat only former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry has since matched.
