After an entertaining opening weekend of Premier League action, it’s time to kick back, relax, and drink in The Football Faithfuls very first Podcast of the 2019/20 season.
It’s fair to say all the lads aren’t giving anybody much of a chance of stopping Pep Guardiola’s Man City Juggernaut winning a third Premier League crown after the reigning Champions romped to a 5-0 win over West Ham in their opening fixture.
Manchester United fans Colm and Peter were understandably delighted with their sides 4-0 win over Chelsea, although nobody is getting too carried away and both give reasons why they haven’t changed their minds on this season being a season of struggle for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
We talk Liverpool and a potential positional change for Trent Alexander-Arnold, while our resident Scouser Ant is understandably worried about Reds ‘keeper Alisson’s injury.
Any regular listeners to this pod will know it’s very rare indeed that we have anything positive to say about Arsenal, but we break from character and big up the North London club for their dealings in the transfer market and a couple of the podders are predicting big things for Unai Emery’s side this season.
With it being a new season we’ve gone and revamped our brilliant weekly quiz, and we also have all the regular features like moment and pr*ck of the week, as well as much, much more.
This pod is brought to you in association with our friends at Carling, who’ve just launched a superb new inter lockable glass that allows you to carry four pints easily. Now if that’s not an innovation we can all get behind, we don’t know what is!
Listen up, enjoy, and don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe…
