Tottenham and West Ham are being linked with a move for highly-rated Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite.
The French midfielder had made a big impact since arriving in Italy from Monaco last summer, and has attracted the interest of the Premier League duo.
The London rivals are both in the market for a central midfield player, and Meite would likely cost in the region £20-25m.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham are yet to replace Moussa Dembele, who was allowed to leave for China in January, and have targeted Meite to fill the void left by the Belgian international.
West Ham have struggled with midfield options this season, having suffered injuries to the likes of Jack Wilshere, Manuel Lanzini and Carlos Sanchez, with boss Manuel Pellegrini keen to strengthen his options this summer.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport Torino are yet to entertain offers for Meite, though the Serie A side look set to make a significant profit on a player signed for just £9m in 2018.
