Southampton target £11million replacement for Liverpool bound Mané

Southampton are locked in discussion with Liverpool over the £30million sale of Sadio Mané, and have already began to look for a replacement for the Senegalese striker.

The Daily Mirror claims that Southampton have targetted relegated Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond to replace Mane at St Marys.

Despite Norwich wanting to keep their star players as they push for promotion back to the Premier League, it is almost inevitable that some of their better players will be poached by existing Premier League clubs.

The 22-year old impressed during the Toulan Tournament last month and will complete a medical at the South Coast club today before completing a transfer to the Saints.

Stoke City were also thought to be interested in signing the former Birmingham City winger.
