Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has labelled Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as ‘a fantastic goalscorer’ ahead of his side’s trip to Wembley Stadium.
Kane has been in his usual red hot form this season, netting 14 Premier League goals in 21 games. Spurs sit third in the table with a talented attacking lineup and represent a first major test for Solskjaer as United manager.
The former Manchester United forward was appointed in December following Jose Mourinho’s departure and has led his side to four straight wins in the league. Speaking about the prospect of facing off against Harry Kane, Solskjaer was full of praise.
“He’s not bad is he?” said the Norwegian in his pre-match press conference.
“He is a fantastic goalscorer, one of the best in the world. From the outside it looks like he never misses chances really. We have to make sure he doesn’t get any against us.”
His defence will have their work cut out against the 2016 and 2017 Premier League Golden Boot winner, who will look to carry on his scoring streak as United come to town.
