Maurizio Sarri has said he is planning to sit down with a number of his Chelsea team in order to get to the bottom of their recent slump.
The Blues are clinging onto their place in the top four by virtue of goal difference following their disappointing defeat to Leicester just before Christmas, a game that Sarri said he was surprised by his team’s reaction to going a goal behind.
“Right now, we have to think about us. Only about our team,” Sarri said ahead of tonight’s clash with Watford.
“The most important thing is our reaction to this result. In the match, the reaction was not right.
“I have an idea about what happened. I want confirmation – so I have to speak with my players.
“I want to speak with the group, first of all. Then with three, four or five players.
“We have to do everything to avoid the same problem in the future. It’s not easy. We will prepare a video, as we do for every match. And an individual video, with individual mistakes.”
