Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri says winger Callum Hudson-Odoi ‘is in my mind for every match’.
The Blues hold a three-goal advantage as they travel to face Dynamo Kiev in their Europa League Round of 16 second leg on Thursday night, with Sarri insisting Hudson-Odoi was in his thinking for the fixture in the Ukrainian capital.
The 18-year-old has impressed in his sporadic appearances for the club so far this season, with fans keen for the teenager to be given further opportunities.
Hudson-Odoi scored as Chelsea won the first leg 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, and has impressed during their European campaign with three goals in seven appearances.
‘I have a lot of players of course. I know very well for you Hudson-Odoi is the best, for me I want to see all of them at the same level,’ Sarri told a pre-match press conference.
‘Hudson-Odoi is doing very well in the last period, he will be in the list of 18 for sure, maybe on the pitch, I don’t know at this moment.
‘I want to send to my team the message the match is very important. I don’t want to make a mistake in this. In the last match Hudson-Odoi was the first change so you know very well he is in mind for every match.’
