Maurizio Sarri has said that he isn’t concerned about the heightened chatter around the future of Eden Hazard and a potential summer move to Real Madrid.
The Chelsea number 10 has long been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, with the Belgian often fluttering his eyelids in the direction of the 13-time European champions, repeatedly calling a move to the Spanish capital, ‘a dream’.
However, speculation of a big-money summer move has intensified in recent days with Los Blancos having reappointed Zinedine Zidane as their manager, with the Frenchman known to be a big fan of the 28-year-old winger.
However, speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Europa League last 16, second-leg tie against Dynamo Kiev, a tie they already lead 3-0 on aggregate, Maurizio Sarri has insisted that he is ‘not worried’ about the speculation surrounding his star player.
“You have to ask to Hazard (about Zidane) I think,” Sarri said at his pre-match press conference on Wednesday.
“I don’t know at the moment. I didn’t speak with Eden about Zidane.
“I am not worried because you know my opinion. I want only in my team players who want to play for Chelsea, so I can’t be worried.”
