Sarri admits Hazard ‘is very important’ to Chelsea’s hopes of silverware

Chelsea continued their superb start to this Premier League season by beating Bournemouth 2-0 earlier today at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues fourth win on the trot sees them keep pace with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, as we head into the first international break of the campaign.

Speaking after today’s match Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri admitted that he is very happy with his players and also revealed how important it is for his sides chances of success this season that the Blues did not allow Eden Hazard to leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid this summer.

“They defended very aggressively and made the situation not so easy,” told BBC Sport.

“Usually this kind of match you can win in the last 20 minutes and we did.

“I don’t know if we are able to win something this season, but Eden Hazard is very important to us.

“In the first half it was very difficult to play – we needed to move the ball at a higher speed – but it wasn’t easy. We needed more movement without the ball, but I think we did well.

“I’m really very happy with my players at the moment. I don’t want to think about the last four matches – it’s better to think about the next one.”
