Roy Keane lays into dismal Man United following Arsenal defeat

Roy Keane slammed Man United for making life far too easy for Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Kai Havertz set up Leandro Trossard after being played miles onside by Casemiro for the only goal of the game.

It was the Red Devils‘ ninth home defeat in the Premier League this season, their joint-most ever in a single campaign.

“The disappointment for me in the last half an hour was Man United,” Keane told Sky Sports. “Arsenal have come to Old Trafford over the years and found it difficult, but I bet Arsenal couldn’t believe how bad United were.

“Whatever bits of possession they had, the end product and lack of quality – you talk about the great teams United had over the years, the players they’ve had. That last half an hour, decision-making, nobody digging anybody out, making mistakes, falling over, not putting demands on each other.

“That United team there… they’re so bad.”

The Irishman added: “Arsenal players will be in the dressing room saying ‘how easy was that’ – they hardly got into second gear. They knew when they got their goal and are so solid at the back it was game over.

“I bet Arsenal couldn’t believe how bad Manchester United were.”
