Real Madrid and Juventus have agreed a deal that will see Cristiano Ronaldo move from La Liga to Serie A next season, according to highly respected Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague.
As we reported earlier Ronaldo is said to have already completed a medical with the Turin giant, and now Balague, who is one of the leading authorities on Spanish football, has confirmed that a deal does really seem to be in place for the Portuguese star to seal a £88 million move to Italy.
“The story comes out, leaked in my opinion from Ronaldo’s camp. Everything is agreed with Juventus, who are willing to pay €100m,” Balague revealed on YouTube.
“Next Real say you have to pay more and then it gets leaked from Madrid that maybe we are willing to let you go.
“And this is now a game of poker with Ronaldo saying ‘I’m going’ and Real saying, ‘OK, you can go!’
“But the chord is being so stretched that at some point it could break in a way that has never happened before.”
Despite these reports many fans remain sceptical that Ronaldo will actually leave Real after so many rumours of his departure in the past have actually resulted in him signing a new and improved contract at the Bernabeu.
Balague also states that this game of ‘poker,’ is still be played between Ronaldo and Real, but that this time it may actually result in a parting of ways between the 13 times Champions League Champions and their all time record goalscorer.
