Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers admits his side need to strengthen in the January transfer window after they lost 1-0 to Glasgow rivals Rangers on Saturday.
Ryan Jack’s deflected strike sealed all three points for Rangers, with Steven Gerrard’s side going level with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
With Kilmarnock just a further point back, Rodgers admits his side must strengthen in the winter as they look to pull away in the title race.
Speaking to Celtic TV, Rodgers said: “The players will have a number of days with their families.
“Next Saturday we will meet up again. We have a lot of work to do in terms of our game, we have some work to do in the transfer market, that we want to get players in.
“It is clear where we need it in terms of the squad then we will come back ready into our next game and be ready to fight.”
Celtic are believed to be interested in signing two forwards and have been linked with a loan move for West Bromwich Albion winger Oliver Burke.
