Andy Robertson says Liverpool are ‘full of confidence’ as they prepare to face Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals this week.
Liverpool travel to Spain to face Barcelona in the first leg of their last four clash on Wednesday night, having been in superb form as of late, winning 10 consecutive matches in all competitions.
Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Huddersfield 5-0 on Friday night, with the in-form Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane each scoring twice, and full-back Robertson says confidence is high as they prepare to meet the Spanish champions.
“We’re full of confidence, they’re full of confidence,” Roberston told liverpoolfc.com.
“Look, we know how good they are, but we’re a tough team to beat and that’s what we need to show. We need to be at our best, we know that, but over two legs we fancy ourselves against anyone and hopefully it proves that way.
“It’s a massive occasion and we look forward to it. Now it’s all about resting and recovering and trying to get the legs as ready as we can.”
