Manchester United’s players believe manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not strong enough to deal with Paul Pogba.
Pogba is an influential figure in the United dressing room, but several stars are believed to have turned on the 26-year-old following another poor showing in the 4-0 defeat at Everton last weekend.
Real Madrid are reportedly interested in a summer move for the Frenchman, and will be delighted at reports that Pogba’s presence is unsettling the dressing room at Old Trafford.
According to The Sun, Pogba has told teammates that he believes United are failing to progress, with the World Cup winner also doubting Solskjaer’s ability to revive the club’s fortunes.
Several teammates have now expressed concerns that Solskjaer is unable to handle the ego of Pogba, who has made it clear he would be interested in moving to Spain.
Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has made Pogba a priority target this summer, and will be encouraged to launch a big-money move following the reports.
Pogba’s situation is the latest problem for United boss Solskjaer, with the 46-year-old feeling the pressure following the club’s recent poor run of form.
