Real Madrid are set for a summer raid on the Premier League after handing manager Zinedine Zidane a huge €500m transfer budget.
Zidane is preparing for a huge overhaul at the Spanish giants this summer, after returning for a second spell as manager last month.
Real have endured a disappointing campaign, trailing Barcelona by 13 points in La Liga and seeing their defence of the Champions League ended in the last-16 by Ajax.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus last summer has left a huge void at the club, and according to the Mirror Zidane will now be armed with a €500m (£430m) budget to strengthen his squad.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is one player likely to move to Spain, with Real holding a strong interest in the Belgian international who will have just a year remaining on his contract this summer.
Chelsea are resigned to losing the 28-year-old, who has made no secret of his desire to play both for Real and under Zidane, and will hold out for a fee of around £100m.
Speculation has also persisted that Zidane is keen on a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, whilst Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Liverpool’s Sadio Mane have also been linked with moves to Spain.
