Antonio Rudiger’s future is set to dominate the transfer headlines in the coming months, with the Chelsea defender out of contract at the end of the season.
Negotiations between the west Londoners and Rudiger had failed to find an agreement and the government sanctions placed on Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich have only increased the chances of the centre-back departing Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are unable to negotiate new deals under the terms of their current licence and Europe’s elite are monitoring the situation closely ahead of a move for Rudiger as a free agent this summer.
So for those of you interested in paysafe casinos, we’ve decided to look at the bookmakers’ five favourites to sign Antonio Rudiger this summer.
Bayern Munich – 9/1
Bayern Munich have been linked with a move to sign Rudiger as a free agent, in a deal that would bring the Germany international back to the Bundesliga.
Rudiger began his career at Stuttgart before spells with Roma and Chelsea and could be tempted by a return to his native Germany and the nation’s perennial powerhouse.

Bayern are in the market for a centre-back this summer with Niklas Sule set to sign for divisional rivals Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer, but the Bavarians will not enter a bidding war when it comes to offering Rudiger a lucrative contract.
Deals for Rudiger and Erling Haaland have been dismissed in the media given the German giant’s determination to remain within their wage structure, but there are few more appealing sporting projects for Rudiger than the Bundesliga’s dominant force.
Paris Saint-Germain – 7/1
Paris Saint-Germain have been priced at odds of 7/1 to sign Rudiger, having taken advantage of free agency last summer to secure the signings of Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum.
That all-star cast of arrivals failed to improve the club’s hopes of a maiden Champions League and there could be another rebuild in Paris this summer after a disappointing last-16 exit.
Ramos’ future remains uncertain after a frustrating first season in Ligue 1 and Rudiger could prove the perfect replacement for the veteran Spaniard should he depart the Parc des Princes.
Kylian Mbappe’s expected exit is set to be a huge blow to PSG’s current project and high-level additions – such as Rudiger – are required to rebuild momentum in the French capital.
Newcastle – 7/1
Newcastle’s climb away from the Premier League’s relegation places means attentions can begin to turn towards next season, with the summer set to provide the new ownership with a first real chance to make a statement.
The billionaire-backed Magpies invested around £92m on new signings in January, though their transfer targets were limited given the club’s precarious position near the bottom of the division.

Premier League status almost secured and with ambitions of challenging England’s elite, Eddie Howe’s side are set to be major movers in the market this summer and Rudiger’s arrival would represent a signal of intent.
The centre-back would need convincing that Newcastle can challenge for trophies in the near future, but the Magpies now have the resources to make Rudiger a huge contract offer.
Manchester United – 6/1
Manchester United are the second favourites to sign Rudiger from Chelsea this summer, with the Red Devils linked with a free transfer swoop on their Premier League rivals.
Harry Maguire’s erratic form has increased calls for centre-back additions and the prospect of signing Rudiger on a free transfer will be one not overlooked by the Old Trafford hierarchy.
Rudiger has made 190 appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Roma and starred in the club’s Champions League triumph last season, his aggression and mobility – alongside a composure in possession – traits that have been lacking in the Red Devils’ defence this season.
If a deal can be agreed, United have the opportunity to sign one of the Premier League’s best centre-backs for nothing and simultaneously weaken a direct rival.
Real Madrid – 3/1
Real Madrid are the favourites to sign Rudiger from Chelsea, with the Spanish giants retaining a lure for European football’s top talent.
Rudiger’s decision will be primarily motivated by the football project and Real Madrid could provide the perfect package in terms of challenge and finances.
The La Liga leaders are expected to complete the free transfer signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, whilst there is also interest from the Spanish capital in Erling Haaland.
Arriving at the Bernabeu alongside Galactico additions will no doubt appeal to Rudiger, as Real Madrid look to build a side capable of challenging for the Champions League once again.
David Alaba and Eder Militao have impressed in partnership at Real Madrid this season, but the arrival of Rudiger could allow the versatile Alaba to operate in alternative roles at left-back or in midfield.
