Raiola: Pogba has been ‘respectful and professional’

Mino Raiola reckons Paul Pogba has been ‘respectful and professional’ towards Manchester United, despite his desire to leave the club.

The World Cup winning midfielder recently declared that he was considering ‘a new challenge somewhere else,’ while his ever-controversial agent Mino Raiola announced he was trying to engineer a move for his client, with Real Madrid, PSG and Juventus all having been linked.

Pogba hasn’t exactly looked the picture of happiness having flown around the world for Manchester United‘s pre-season tour of Australia, Singapore, and China.

Images on social media emerged on Monday of Pogba being restained by Victor Lindelof following an apparent spat with Jesse Lingard, but Raiola has insisted that the Frenchman is being respectful to his employers, although for a man banking over £200,000 every week, we would bloody well hope so!

“The player has done nothing wrong,” Raiola told talkSPORT.

“He has been respectful and professional in every way and always. The club has known his feeling for a long time.”

Raiola also suggested that United should jump to Pogba’s defence following the criticism he is receiving for wanting to leave.

“It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this,” he said.

“Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties.”
