Rabiot rejected Spurs because they are ‘below’ his level

Adrien Rabiot is not interested in a move to Tottenham, as the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder believes Mauricio Pochettino’s side are ‘below’ his level.

Thr 23-year-old is set to leave the French champions with his contract expiring this summer, and has been linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs.

The Frenchmen has refused to sign a new deal at The Park des Princes, and ESPN are reporting Rabiot could be available for just €10m in January having taken a ‘definitive’ decision to leave Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Rabiot has been frozen out at PSG since making his desire to leave clear, with central defender Marquinhos having been used as an unorthodox holding midfielder in recent weeks.

Spurs, along with the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan have been credited with an interest in Rabiot, with Spanish champions Barcelona the current favourites to secure his signing.

According to reports however Rabiot is set to refuse Tottenham’s advances, believing he is a level above the North London club.
