No Pulisic transfer in January confirm Borussia Dortmund

Christian Pulisic will not be leaving Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.

That’s according to the club’s sporting director Michael Zorc, who has said that the German side “plan at least until the end of the season with him.”

Pulisic’s current contract expires in 2020 and negotiations over a new deal have been put on hold. The 20-year-old has struggled for opportunities this season due to the emergence of Jadon Sancho at the Westfalenstadion and has been linked with a move away.

Several English club’s have been credited with an interest in the US international, with The Football Faithful recently reporting that Chelsea were in pole position to secure his signature. Liverpool and Tottenham though have also been credited with an interest in the winger.

Zorc, however, has stated that he expects Pulisic to stay. He told German publication Kicker: “We have known these rumours for many years,’’ Zorc said.

“We plan at least until the end of the season with him.”
