Christian Pulisic is confident Chelsea can ‘compete’ with Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
The US international will join up with Chelsea this summer having agreed a five-and-a-half year deal in January, before being loaned back to Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the season.
The £58m signing arrives at Stamford Bridge after three years in the Bundesliga, and scored four goals last season as Dortmund finished their Bundesliga campaign as runners-up.
Pulisic is confident his new side can challenge for major honours next season, the 20-year-old insisting Chelsea can ‘compete’ with the likes of champions Manchester City and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
“We are a confident group of guys,” Pulisic told the BBC.
“Liverpool and City are two great teams who had great seasons but I have seen Chelsea compete against big teams and do well against them this season.
“We want to go in with a winning mentality and compete with them right away.”
It was a shortened pod this week, but still a solid listen. 🎧👌
