Report: Pogba ‘desperate’ for Real Madrid move – but he might need to take a pay cut

Yep, its another day, and of course there is another story about Paul Pogba moving to Real Madrid.

In a saga that is likely to run long into the summer, the Manchester United midfielder is reportedly ‘desperate’ to seal a move to the Spanish giants.

United’s alarming run of form has left them on the verge of missing out on Champions League qualification, with Pogba now wanting out of Old Trafford after being left disenchanted with the club’s ability to compete for major honours.

According to the Independent the 26-year-old will do all he can to engineer a move to the Bernabeu this summer, with Pogba ready to pack his bags and head for the sunny climate of the Spanish capital.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of his compatriot, with the Frenchman ready to launch big-money summer moves for both Pogba and Chelsea star Eden Hazard as he plots an overhaul at the club.

However, ESPN are reporting that the once most expensive player in the world could have to take a pay cut to make his dream move to the Bernabeu come to fruition.

United boss Solskjaer has previously stated Pogba’s future remains in Manchester, though a bid in the region of £130m would likely be enough to tempt the club into selling their prized asset.
