Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba have held clear the air talks in order to try to resolve their ongoing issues.
The pair have been at loggerheads for a number of months thanks to the £89 million midfielder’s inconsistent form since last Christmas.
He put in some very mature performances at this summer’s World Cup in France, taking on a surprise leadership role within Les Bleus dressing room, delivering an inspirational speech to his teammates ahead of their 4-2 final victory over Croatia.
Since his return to Manchester United, Pogba has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona with Luis Suarez blatantly tapping the midfielder up in recent days, as speculation of a January transfer persists.
However, according to The Mirror, Pogba and Mourinho have held clear the air talks to help their strained relationship and have agreed that the midfielder will not push for a January transfer after accepting that he will not be allowed to leave.
