Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is happy that his side’s chances of finishing in the top four remain in their own hands.
The North London outfit face Brighton tonight at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and are aware that if they win their remaining four fixtures they will qualify for the Champions League for the fourth successive season.
Three of Spurs four remaining games will take place at their newly opened home ground, and Pochettino has called on his side to put in a strong performance tonight against Chris Hughton’s struggling Seagulls.
“It is in our hands to be in the top four and the Champions League next season,” Pochettino told his pre-match press conference.
“Our next two games are decisive, if we can win them, it will depend on us. Now it is time to be strong and be competitive for Tuesday and take the three points.”
