West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has heaped praise on Mauricio Pochettino and his Spurs side ahead of their Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Before what is usually a feisty London derby, Pellegrini has been discussing England captain and Spurs striker Harry Kane, as well as how highly he rates the job Pochettino has done at the North London club.
“He is one of the best players in this league. They have three or four players in the England International squad,” Pellegrini told his pre-match press conference.
“They have a complete squad. Pochettino has done a very good job. Every year he has improved Tottenham a little bit more. I think they are a good team with a very good manager.
West Ham go into Saturday’s fixture in 15th place in the Premier League table and will be aiming to pick up some points to move away from the relegation zone after what has been a difficult start to their campaign.
