West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has demanded his side continue to improve after their 3-1 win over Cardiff on Tuesday night.
Lucas Perez (2) and Michael Antonio scored the goals in a comfortable home win, their second win in succession following Saturday’s 3-0 win at Newcastle.
The back-to-back wins have lifted The Hammers to 13th following an indifferent start to the season, and Pellegrini is keen for his side to ‘keep trying to improve’.
“I think we are improving as a team. We are doing things better,” he told the media after the game.
“We cannot stop in this moment though.
“We are improving, and I’ve always said, we are trying to change the style of play. We didn’t change because we lost some games. We will keep trying to improve.”
West Ham host Crystal Palace at The London stadium this weekend, looking for their third consecutive win.
Marko Arnautovic will miss the fixture having limped out of the win over Cardiff, a hamstring injury likely to rule the Austrian out for up to a month.
