Nuno Espirito Santo admits he is unsure over the future of ‘unique’ Adama Traore amid continued speculation linking the winger with a move away from Wolves.
Traore has enjoyed the best season of his career to date with four goals and eight assists in the Premier League so far this season, with Liverpool reportedly monitoring the exciting winger ahead of a potential summer deal.
Wolves are likely to demand a huge fee from any side interested in signing the 24-year-old, with Nuno describing Traore as a ‘special player’ following his immediate impact during the club’s victory at West Ham last weekend.
“Adama is a special player, he is unique,” said the Wolves boss at his pre-match press conference. “He has things to improve. It is our decision how we manage the team. We have a lot of things to judge on and make the right decisions.
Despite his praise for the star, the Portuguese boss was unable to confirm Traore would remain at Molineux when asked if the winger would be at Wolves beyond the summer transfer window.
“I don’t know. He is here now and ready to go tomorrow. No speculation. We just do what we need to do.”
Wolves continue their push for a top four finish and Champions League qualification when they host struggling Bournemouth tomorrow night, the club currently five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
