Nottingham Forest host Arsenal at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon on five points from six league games, with back-to-back league defeats behind them.
Oliver Glasner’s side lost 1-0 at home to Coventry City, then 3-1 at Crystal Palace, Glasner’s former club, where they created eight big chances but scored once. Forest have scored five league goals, only Tottenham Hotspur fewer, with Dan Ndoye on two and Liam Delap on one in 350 minutes. Glasner asked Chris Wood to talk to the forwards about finishing in training this week. The sides drew 0-0 at the City Ground in each of the last two seasons, and Arsenal have won one of their last six visits. Arsenal have kept clean sheets in four straight games against Forest.
Nottingham Forest team news
Igor Jesus (calf) and Nicolo Savona (knee) are out. Morgan Gibbs-White sustained a minor muscle injury at Crystal Palace, missed most of the week’s training and is a doubt, Glasner said. Nikola Milenkovic (knee) is back in training after a six-week absence but is not expected to start.
Gibbs-White, who has created seven big chances this season, is expected to start if fit, with Callum Hudson-Odoi the alternative. He is predicted to join Ndoye and Delap in an unchanged front three from Selhurst Park. Daniel Munoz, Xaver Schlager, James McAtee and Neco Williams are likely to keep their midfield places, with Ola Aina, Ousmane Diomande and Murillo in front of Matz Sels.
Nottingham Forest predicted lineup
Nottingham Forest possible starting XI: Sels; Aina, Diomande, Murillo; Munoz, Schlager, McAtee, Williams; Gibbs-White, Ndoye; Delap
