Newcastle United have expressed interest in Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas.
Last season’s Championship title winners Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas. The 26 year-old midfielder was accredited as being Hull’s most consistent player last season. However despite his notable performances, Hull suffered relegation back to the second-tier.
It has also been reported that Benitez is looking to weigh-up a £4 million bid for Clucas. Furthermore Clucas himself is said to be keen on returning to the Premier League.
Since signing for Hull in 2015, Clucas has played 93 times for the Tigers, scoring nine goals in the process. He has notably played a pivotal part in the City squad in the past two seasons, in both the Championship and Premier League.
