Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has denied that he is affected by the heavy criticism he has received in recent days.
Mourinho was cut a frustrated figure all summer with his relationship with his clubs board and several of his star players said to have become strained.
This is not to mention the growing dissatisfaction among the Manchester United supporters who have become tired of his pragmatic playing style and yearn for a return to the clubs more attack-minded traditions.
Criticism of Mourinho reached fever pitch this week after his side slipped to a meek 3-2 defeat away to Brighton last weekend, although the Portuguese coach has revealed that he pays little attention to what is written or said about him.
“Don’t ask me because I don’t read, I don’t know 10% of what is written, 10% of what is coming on the TV screens, so I’m not the right guy to answer to you,” he told the press ahead of his sides crunch Premier League fixture against Spurs at Old Trafford on Monday.
