Alvaro Morata is trying to push through a move to Manchester United as it threatens to hit the rails.
According to Spanish publication AS, Real Madrid are believed to have demanded even more cash out of Manchester United, forcing Morata to cut short his honeymoon in Ibiza as the 24-year-old tries to move the deal along.
United are believed to have offered €74m (£65m) for the striker, but Real Madrid have upped their asking price to between €85m-€90m (£75m-£79m) and do not feel any pressure to sell any time soon.
Ideally, United want Morata to to join in the next few days in order for him to be able to report for Pre-Season training with the rest of the squad on 8th July. However Real Madrid are prepared to wait and squeeze as much cash out of United as possible.
They are also wary of Morata facing up against them in the UEFA Super Cup fixture on August 8th when they face the Europa League winners in Macedonia.
