Thomas Meunier says he wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain this summer, despite reported interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Belgian international has emerged as a target for the Premier League duo as they bid to strengthen their options at full-back, with the 27-year-old having entered the final year of his contract at the Ligue 1 club.
Meunier, who made 22 Ligue 1 appearances for the club last season, was brought to the French capital by Arsenal boss Unai Emery, who is believed to want to take the right-back to the Emirates this summer.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plots an overhaul of his squad, although Aaron Wan Bissaka is thought to be the Red Devils preferred option at right-back.
Speaking about the speculation surrounding his future, Meunier insists his preference is to remain in Paris, although he is willing to ‘find a solution’ if he is not wanted by the Ligue 1 champions.
“I will repeat myself again,โ the Belgian told RTBF. “My ambition is to stay in Paris.
“If they want me, that will be even better – we will be hand in hand.
โIf they do not want me, then we will find a solution.”
