West Brom defender Tyrone Mears has called for his side to remain focused as the Baggies strive for an instant return to the Premier League.
Darren Mooreโs side currently sitย third in the Championship table and have won five out of five at the Hawthorns, but veteran defender Mears has urged his teammates not to get too carried away just yet.
โYou canโt take anything for granted, no matter what names you have in the squad,โ he told Wba.co.uk.
โYou definitely need a strong squad to get back up to the Premier League.
โYou also need a lot of fight and a little bit of luck.
โAt the minute weโve got a bit of a run going on which is giving the strikers and the attacking players a lot of confidence.
โWeโre banging the goals in and we had a clean sheet in the last game, which is something as a team we need to work on, to get more clean sheets.
โIf we do that then weโll definitely give ourselves a great chance of going back up.โ
West Brom travel to bottom-placed Preston on Saturday.
