Sergio Aguero says he is ‘so very happy’ after scoring a crucial winner as Manchester City won 1-0 at Burnley on Sunday.
The Argentine scored his 20th league goal of the season to seal the win at Turf Moor. A goal which was bundled home and given via goal-line technology after Matt Lowton’s clearance, as City returned to the top with a win over Sean Dyche’s side.
City now stand just two victories away from retaining their Premier League title, and Aguero admits he is ‘so very happy’ after sealing what could prove to be a vital win.
“I am so very happy for the win and now we have one week now to prepare for the next game,” Aguero told Sky Sports.
“I think it was over the line! I am very happy with the goal because the first half we had chances. I was happy for the technology.
“When I scored I enjoyed the moment with my team-mates.”
