Sadio Mane and his Liverpool team-mates are eagerly awaiting Friday’s Champions League quarter-final draw to see which team they will face in the final eight of Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have played some sensational attacking football so far in this years tournament, scoring a record breaking 23 goals in the group stages alone.
The Anfield club eased through to the quarter-finals after easily disposing of Portuguese Champions Porto 5-0 on aggregate in the final 16.
Now one of their deadliest attackers Mane have revealed that he is convinced the club can go all the way to Champions League glory this year.
“There are almost only top clubs left in the race,”
“We are all aware that if you want to become a champion you must be champions. We’ve got the quality to beat every team in the world. And we’ll try exactly that.
“Why should Liverpool not be on top in 2018? We want to win the Champions League. I am convinced we can do it for the first time since 2005.”
