Eddie Howe’s outfit eased past top-four rivals Aston Villa 3-0 on Boxing Day. That win followed 4-0 league wins over Leicester and Ipswich.

Manchester United will be without Bruno Fernandes following his red card at Wolves. The Portugal international was dismissed in the 47th minute as United crashed to defeat at Molineux. It was the midfielder’s third red card of the campaign in all competitions, though the first of those was later overturned.
Manuel Ugarte is also out through suspension. The combative Uruguayan picked up his fifth booking of the season at Wolves.
Those absences leave Amorim short and will decide between Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo and Christian Eriksen as a partnership in midfield. Matthijs de Ligt could return after illness but there’s unlikely to be a place for Marcus Rashford. The 27-year-old has been frozen out with an exit in January probable.
