Manchester United star Herrera calls for togetherness ahead of Burnley clash

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has called for everybody associated with the Old Trafford club to stick together ahead of their Premier League clash against Burnley today.

After a summer of discontent between Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and his clubs board over transfer targets, the Red Devils have made a disastrous start to the season losing two of their opening three Premier League fixtures.

With the clubs coach, CEO and players coming in for some heavy criticism in recent weeks Herrera has urged everybody to stick together and the Spanish midfielder has insisted that those taking joy from his clubs struggles are just jealous.

“We all know and we all are experienced enough to know that apart from Manchester United fans, the club and the players everyone wants us to lose which is good,” Herrera told Man United’s official website.

“That means they want to be in our situation and would all like to play for and support a team as big as Manchester United.

“So from there we have to be even stronger; that has to make us even stronger.

“No-one is going to help us apart from the fans, the club and the team so we all have to be very, very together and focused on the next game.”
