Manchester United and Manchester City are tracking Lille teenager Leny Yoro ahead of a potential move.
The 18-year-old broke into the Lille side last season and has since made 22 senior appearances, with European clubs keeping a close eye on the progress of one of Ligue 1’s brightest talents.
The France u-21 international made his senior debut for Lille just a day after his 16th birthday, replacing Eden Hazard as the second-youngest player to have represented the club.
Le 10 sport are reporting that both Manchester United and Manchester City have made concrete approaches for the central defender, with discussions having taken place over the conditions of a deal.
Lille are keen to retain the services of the teenager and are in discussions with Yoro over a new deal, as the French side look to agree an extension to the defender’s contract, which currently expires in 2025.
Yoro has impressed as composed defensive option and has completed 91.6% of his passes across the last 12 months, ranking him among the top seven percent of central defenders across Europe’s top five leagues.
