Chelsea maintained their 100% record in the Premier League so far this season by beating Bournemouth 2-0 today at Stamford Bridge.
Many expected Chelsea to struggle a bit at the start of this season due to the change in philosophy under new coach Maurizio Sarri.
However, with four wins on the trot in the Premier League it seems the Blues players are taking to the highly-rated Italian coaches methods with ease.
Former Manchester United and Liverpool midfielder Paul Ince has praised the Chelsea players for having the intelligence to adapt so quickly, while he also hailed the type of football that Sarri has brought to Stamford Bridge.
“Maurizio Sarri has brought a couple of players in and they already have hit the ground running.” Ince told the BBC.
“He’s enforced his philosophy and the players are that clever they have taken it on board, while West Ham and Arsenal are finding out if they have the players to play the way they want under new managers.
Former England international Ince was also glowing in his appraisal of Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard, who scored his sides second goal late on after Pedro had put the Blues ahead.
“Some of the football is sublime, Eden Hazard for me is world class.”
