Manchester United have ended their interest in Tottenham left back Danny Rose.
Danny Rose sparked outrage in the media last week with an open and honest interview with the Sun. The England international slated his employers’ transfer policy while also stating his desire to get a pay rise to somewhere near his true market value.
Rose currently earns around £65,000-a-week at Spurs after he signed a new deal last year, but recognises he could earn far more money elsewhere.
Manchester United were thought to be keen on signing the 27-year-old but after already losing Kyle Walker to Manchester City, Spurs are refusing to sell to ensure they aren’t seen to be pandering to his demands.
The Daily Star claim that Jose Mourinho has now ended his interest in signing the left back.
Chelsea are believed to be interested in making a £50m for Rose, but the defender, who claimed he wanted to move back back to the North, had his heart set on a move to Old Trafford.
