Fernando Llorente says Tottenham need to ‘wake up’ as the prepare to face Ajax in the Champions League semi-finals.

Spurs perfect record at their new stadium was ended by London rivals West Ham on Saturday, with Michail Antonio sealing a surprise 1-0 win for the visitors.

Having reached the last four of Europe’s premier competition for the first time in their history, Spurs face fellow surprise package Ajax for a place in the final.

Asked if the defeat to West Ham will help Spurs refocus their attentions on Tuesday’s semi-final, Spanish forward Llorente said: “Maybe it’s better, no?”

“It’s right, we need everyone to wake up because if we play like this on Tuesday we will lose, easy.”

Spurs have several injury concerns ahead of Tuesday’s tie, with Harry Kane injured and Heung-Min Son suspended.

Mauricio Pochettino also has concerns in midfield, with both Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko doubtful through injury.
