Brentford beat London rivals Crystal Palace 2-1 to remain unbeaten on every opening day since promotion to the Premier League.
Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbuemo continued their deadly double-act with the goals for the Bees, as the pair scored either side of an unfortunate Ethan Pinnock own goal.
Ivan Toney was absent from Brentford’s squad last weekend as he explores his options regarding a transfer, with interest from the Saudi Pro League.

The Merseyside club comfortably beat Brentford in the last meeting between the teams, with goals from Darwin Nunez, Alexis Mac Allister, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo enough for a routine victory.
Nunez’s audacious chip commenced the scoring spree and Mac Aliister poked in Liverpool’s second within a minute of the restart.
Substitute Salah breezed past Brentford’s backline to net Liverpool’s third before Gakpo
rounded off the rout with an emphatic finish past fellow countryman Mark Flekken. Ivan Toney was the scorer of Brentford’s solitary goal.
