Mohamed Salah’s opener for Liverpool against Chelsea has continued the forward’s remarkable record against the Premier League’s top teams.
Salah slammed home from the penalty spot at Anfield, after Curtis Jones was brought down inside the box by Levi Colwill.
It was the Egyptian’s fifth goal against former side Chelsea in the Premier League and saw Salah climb into joint-ninth among the Premier League’s all-time top scorers, alongside Jermain Defoe (162).
Astonishingly, the goal was also his 60th goal involvement against other members of the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ sides: Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Egyptian King is the definition of a big-game player.
