Pepe scored 22 Ligue 1 goals and provided 11 assists last season as Lille secured qualification for the Champions League by finishing as runners-up in France’s top division.

According to Le10 Sport, Liverpool have now made an offer for the 24-year-old, though face competition from several leading European clubs for his signature with the likes of Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Manchester United also reportedly interested.

The French club are resigned to losing their star player in the summer window, however, the Champions League winners will have to fork out a significant fee with Lille demanding around £60m for the talented winger.

Playing predominantly from the right-wing, Pepe will add quality and depth to Liverpool‘s forward options providing competition for the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
