Liverpool have had a £25million bid accepted for Newcastle midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
The Dutch midfielder moved to St James Park last summer, and made a good impression in the Premier League, scoring 11 goals. However his good performances were not enough to save the Magpies from relegation to the Championship.
He has attracted attention from Tottenham who refused to meet Newcastles asking fee of £27million. Liverpool meanwhile have agreed a fee of £25million for his services.
The midfielder will now discuss personal terms with the club
