Leeds United have revealed plans and images for a proposed expansion of the club’s Elland Road Stadium.
Last week, Leeds City Councilโs Executive Board unanimously agreed the regeneration project as Leeds look to modernise and expand the ground. The plans will see the capacity of Elland Road increased from 37,645 to around 53,000 supporters.
Leeds, who have secured promotion back to the Premier League for the 2025/26 season, currently have around 26,000 fans on the waiting list for season tickets.
According to the club’s official website, the project will see the ‘revitalisation’ of the West and North stands, along with changes to the South Stand.
There are also proposals to ‘provide greatly improved general admission and hospitality facilities’
