Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told his side to ‘go for it’ ahead of a massive week for the club.
Liverpool host Italian side Napoli in the Champions League this week, knowing they must win to stand any chance of qualifying for the knock-out stages, before facing fierce rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds head into the fixtures in good form, Mo Salah’s hat-trick helping the side to a comprehensive 4-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday, and Klopp is urging his side be positive in the week ahead.
“It is always a huge week.’’ Klopp told the press after yesterday’s victory on the South Coast.
“Napoli is a tough one and then Manchester United – we all know what can happen there.
“Hopefully we can stay fit. Let’s go for it.”
Napoli currently sit top of Champions League Group C, three points clear of Klopp’s side and a win by two-goals or more will see Liverpool progress at their opponents expense.
