While new Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has been receiving many plaudits for his performances during his sides opening three Premier League games, Reds fan are still waiting for their first glimpse of fellow big-money signing Fabinho.
The Brazil international midfielder was signed to much fanfare from Monaco for £43 million earlier this summer but is yet to feature for the Anfield outfit yet this season.
Fabinho was not even included in the matchday squad for Liverpool’s 1-0 home win over Brighton yesterday, but Klopp has insisted that it is simply a case of the midfielder taking time to understand how his new team plays.
“It is about players understanding the position and who else is available as well.’’ Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.
“Otherwise Fabinho would have been involved in the squad, as he was in the first week.
“That is it. It is different football to what he is used to but he is improving already with big steps.
“I can see that in the sessions and that is cool.”
