Keane blasts ‘unprofessional’ Chelsea

Roy Keane has branded Chelsea’s stars as unprofessional following their recent form.

The Blues have slipped to fourth place in the Premier League after a string of disappointing results, including an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Watford earlier this month.

There have been reports that Chelsea’s players are growing tired and bored of Antonio Conte’s methods, despite him leading the club the the Premier League title in his first season in England last season.

The situation is similar to that of a few seasons ago, when Jose Mourinho led Chelsea to the 2014/15 title, only for the players to stop playing for him the following year.

However, the former Manchester United hardman Roy Keane has told ITV Sport that their behaviour is simply unacceptable and tipped them to struggle in next weeks Champions League tie against Barcelona:

“It’s so unprofessional of these Chelsea lads downing tools under different managers. Shocking behaviour.

“I think they will struggle against Barcelona next week. That’s stating the obvious.”

Before they face the Spanish league leaders next week, the Blues have a home tie against Championship outfit Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Friday night.

Keane also slammed Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba following his recent performances.
