Juventus insist Dusan Vlahovic ‘not for sale’

Juventus have insisted that Dusan Vlahovic is ‘not for sale’ this summer despite the expected absence of Champions League football next season.

Juventus are facing the prospect of missing out on the Champions League after the club were hit with a new 10-point deduction for financial mismanagement, a sanction which leaves the Turin side seventh in Serie A and five points from the top four with just two games remaining.

The absence of Champions League football has led to speculation over sales this summer and Vlahovic has been among the names linked with an exit.

Chelsea and Manchester United have been credited with interest in bringing Vlahovic to the Premier League as the duo look to sign a centre-forward this summer, while Arsenal have a long-standing interest in the 23-year-old and made an approach to sign the forward before his move to Juventus last season.

The Serbia international has scored 23 goals in 63 appearances since signing for Juventus from Fiorentina in a £62.8m deal in January 2022. Despite the current situation at the club, Juventus chief Francesco Calvo has insisted that Vlahovic is not for sale.

“Rumours are not something we can control, but the transfer market hasn’t even opened yet. Dusan is not for sale. We are satisfied with the effort he puts in, although everyone in life can do better,” Calvo told DAZN.
