Inter Milan will take on Hellas Verona in their final match of the season on Saturday evening.

Cristian Chivu’s side has already wrapped up a domestic double, winning both the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia. They will now aim to finish the campaign strongly when they face Bologna.

The Nerazzurri head into the final matchday in excellent form, currently on an 11-game unbeaten run across all competitions. They secured their 21st Scudetto earlier this month with a convincing 2–0 victory over Parma. In their most recent meeting with Hellas Verona, the match ended in a 1–1 draw.

Inter Milan team news

Inter also benefit from having a largely fit squad, giving Chivu several options when it comes to team selection. The only notable absentee is Hakan Calhanoglu, who is still recovering from a thigh injury.

With both major domestic trophies already secured, Chivu is expected to rotate his squad to keep key players fresh ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

Despite this, Nicolò Barella and Federico Dimarco are likely to return to the starting lineup after being rested recently. Lautaro Martínez is also expected to lead the attack as he looks to secure the Capocannoniere award as the league’s top scorer.

Yann Sommer should start in goal, with Stefan de Vrij, Francesco Acerbi, and Carlos Augusto forming the defensive back three.

Inter Milan predicted lineup

Possible Inter Milan starting XI: Sommer; de Vrij, Acerbi, Carlos Augusto; Luis Henrique, Barella, Sucic, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Martínez.

When will the match kick off?

The match will kick off at 5pm BST on Saturday, 23rd May.
